Stop! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No...It's just Heather in two clashing prints. I'm not usually a fan of clashing any kind of print or pattern on clothing, heck I'm not even a fan of wearing any kind of pattern at all, but when in Rome, do as the romans do and as I was in the Cotswolds I thought it was only fair to dress a little more adventurously than I'm used to.

The Cotswolds were full of lots of little nooks and crannies everywhere we went and there was always some kind of lake or pond nearby, which definitely makes for an aesthetically pleasing shoot, right?
Ever the adrenaline junkie and risk taker I was, I decided I didn't want your standard standing on flat ground (where it's safer) shots. No, I wanted go-as-high-up-onto-the-ledge-as-possible-and-try-not-to-make-sudden-movements-to-the-left as it would mean taking a plunge into the murky green waters of the Cotswolds deep.

I got the shirt in a  H&M clearance sale and it was only £5. As I said before I'm not a pattern wearer, but the HP shaped glasses print, meant the Ravenclaw Auror in me simply could not resist. It made a pleasant change and it made me feel like I was actually wearing legitimate "holiday" clothes even though I was just an hour and a half away from home!

Now, the striped monochrome pattern on the shorts is one I'm a little more familiar (and comfortable) with. They clash heavily with the glasses printed shirt, but somehow it's makes for an interesting combination - like chalk and cheese. Or custard and steak and kidney pie...(debatable!)

This look is so foreign to me, but there's just something about it that I love. Add on the braces and you've got an androgynous sailor look on your hands - Ahoy!

Here's me: holding on for dear life, worried that one wrong pose could send me flying over the ledge into the murky depths below! I managed to hold on just enough to swing round and take this next photo...
See, I'm starting to look a lot more calm and collected here, now that I'm on solid (stable) ground, don't you think?

The location here, just like everything else in the Cotswolds was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was either green and hilly or blue and fluid, it was the perfect location for any blogger shoot. However with greenery, comes pollen - add the two together and you get a hayfever sufferers worst nightmare!

This particular shot is called: Hurry the f&@* up and take the photo, because my Hayfever is about to blow and I want to get out of this pollen infested (still breathtakingly beautiful) place! Hehe.
