A Burst of Colour Lookbook with Twinings: Calming Chamomile

Sunday, 28 February 2016

Welcome back to part 2 of my Burst of Colour Lookbook with Twinings! Did you enjoy yesterday's outfit? I hope you did, however if you did happen to miss it, you can have a scroll through here, and don't forget to let me know what you guys think in the comments.

Today I'm showcasing calming chamomile, although there isn't really anything calm about this outfit apart from the cool denim tone of the shirt. But apart from that, I would say it's a little bit more edgy. As you all probably know by now about my relationship with fashion: 1) I love oversized clothing & 2) I love masculine style clothing! Of which this look fulfills both these criteria.

This look is all about the layering. Layering necklaces, layering clothes, layering my life, layering my love life...It's just a whole LOT of layering.

I'm pretty damn indecisive when it comes to jewellery, and at times when I can't decide on one item, I just wear everything in layers. So that's what I did, I layered all the chains that I wanted to wear, on top of each other. I love the contrast of the edgier gold chains against the dainty owl pendant, it makes for an interesting contrast in style.

I then layered on the clothes. Oversized items of clothing always look best when layered, so I layered this with a khaki coloured vest top inside, which adds a change in colour shade, but also texture, which adds extra depth to the whole look!

Finally no edgy look could be complete without these Faux Leather trousers from Zara. This would be my second time wearing these trousers in the 3 years that I have owned them for (I have a habit of doing that!) and I have fallen in love with them all over again. They are the perfect finishing touch to this edgy, biker chic look!
