So, I love a good blogging event - no surprise there...what blogger doesn't? So of course I jumped right on board when Jasmine & Kirsty of Soeurs de Luxe first mentioned the idea! Brands, bloggers & festive fun, what more could you want? It sounded magical!
It's crazy how fast the time has flown! It feels like it was only yesterday when @SoeursdeLuxe had just started tweeting, promoting the event on twitter and getting in contact with brands to get them involved! And finally the day had come, so I was so excited to see the final result!
So I hopped on down to Finch's in Moorgate with my bestie Sabreena from 'The Girl in the City', who has recently relaunched her blog with a new design, so do go and check it out if you get a chance.
On to the event! The venue was slightly small, and as someone who suffers from claustrophobia it did get a little cramped for me. But in saying that, what it lacked for in size it made up for in decor and style, and it was here at Finch's that I finally began to feel the festive love. There was a Christmas tree in the front window, sparkly fairy lights strung all around the room and lots of rustic and wooden looking furniture - it was winter time bliss!
The first brand that I stopped off at was Onedox who were one of the sponsors for the event and they talked to me about their exciting and pretty innovative new idea! An online organiser, where you can organise and manage all your household bills - pretty cool right?
While I won't actually be looking to sign up with them at this present moment, the idea is definitely an amazing one, and will be so helpful for those who find organising and keeping up with their bills a challenge! I'm looking at you students!
The girls were so lovely, they spoke about how the idea for the magazine came about, the latest issue, and how much of a natural Sammy was in front of the camera! I could hear their passion for their craft as they spoke about the magazine, their passion for blogging and their passion to create an authentic publication for bloggers about bloggers, which is something I think the media industry is seriously lacking in to be honest, so it's nice to have someone spreading the word about all the amazing work us bloggers do!
Another brand which I loved was Chilpa, which featured mexican inspired textile designs on scarves, cushions and more, they were so beautiful!
I paired the flying hat with an oversized denim shirt from Primark menswear and some leather trousers from Zara - which I've only ever worn once - (I have a serious habit of doing that!) and of course I just had to pair them with my favourite wedding boots from last week's post! Not sure why I called them my wedding boots? Read last week's post here!
All in all it was a lovely afternoon, getting to meet some cool brands and most importantly having a good old chinwag with some old and some new blogger friends aswell! Shoutout to these girlies who are just the sweetest and made the afternoon super fun: Madolyn, Tai, Sonam, Aditi & Christine, do go and check out these girlies because they are fabulous ladies with beautiful blogs!
And that's a wrap on another event! Thank you so much to Jasmine and Kirsty from SoeursDeLuxe, they've done a tremendous job and worked so hard, well done girlies!
Did you got to the Bloggers Xmas? Have you got any exciting christmas blogging events coming up?

I always find myself a little envious when I see events like these! We just don't have them around here, and they look so fun! All kinds of opportunities and enjoyment to be had. Those cushions look fantastic! And I can't wait for your outfit post :)
