6 Impossible Things: October

Tuesday, 13 October 2015

Hey guys! So following my August 6 Impossible things list, I have decided to do another one for this month. I know it's a little late as I did say previously that I would give myself an entire month to complete the 6 things, but I have been a little busy, so I haven't had much time to write blog posts. I'm really enjoying this series and even though I felt like I didn't do aswell in completing them last month (#perfectionistproblems) I got a lot of encouraging and positive feedback from you guys and I feel a lot  more inspired to continue it. It's all a learning process, and I am enjoying the journey!

My 6 Impossible things for October (some will be continued over from August):

1. Find a full-time job
Still searching for a full-time job. I actually had an interview on Saturday so fingers crossed, something good will come of it!

2. Continue posting 4 days a week on the blog
September was a bit of a rocky patch in terms of my blogging schedule, but this month I am back on it and I am feeling more motivated than ever.

3. Resume planning and work on my novel i.e. character and plot development
My novel has really taken a big backseat and I haven't really done anything on it since the beginning of the year. I promised to work on it over the summer, but then my laptop broke, with a lot of my planning still on it! But fear not I will not let that stop me, I've been having so many different ideas about the plot and my characters that I'm just going to start writing it down and start making some progress with it!

4. Start writing a short story for a writing competition in November
I have had this on my to-do list for over a year now, another thing that I had to stop because a lot of my planning and work that I had already started was on my laptop. But like my novel, I'm just going to start writing down ideas - writing something down is better than not writing anything at all, right?

5. Practice mindfulness everyday
I love the idea of mindfulness and all the exercises that come with it. I used to use a lot of the apps each morning, but for some reason I stopped, this is the month that I go back to it!

6. Film, edit and publish my first vlog on my youtube channel
I am in the process of filming this now, so I just need to make sure it's edited and find the guts to actually publish it! You can follow me on Youtube here.

And that's my 6 Impossible Things for this month! Don't forget to come back at the end of October to find out how I got on! :)
