Bloggers Fashion Week

Bloggers Love Fashion Week is an event created by the Bloggers Hangout and is a way to kick off the London Fashion Week celebrations. It is a way for bloggers and brands to all connect and network under one fabulous roof of fashion! I love these events as I have never attended London Fashion Weekend, so I guess it's nice to kind of celebrate fashion in style, just as the attendees of LFW would. I'm also a sucker for any kind of blogger event because it means I get to meet and talk to lots of new and interesting people, which is probably my favourite part of being a blogger!

Anyway on to the event! The venue was at the gorgeous OXO tower London, just by the southbank, with beautiful scenic views of the London skyline! It was just so beautiful and "instagram" worthy that I kind of went a little crazy with the photos! I actually ended up taking more photos of the landscape outside than inside the actual venue and at the actual event - that's typical me anyway, I'm always getting captivated with natures natural beauty!

As the sun began to set, the view was even more breathtaking!

Anyway, once I actually drew myself (dragged away with force by my friends) I finally entered inside. Inside was dressed in the familiar and classy monochrome colours which The Bloggers Hangout are so famous for and there was a lot going on. To the left, models were being beautified and prepped for the catwalk, to the right attendees were having their nails done, and to the north was a haven of brands and bloggers galore!

I saw a lot of beautiful jewellery brands, one of my favourites was Amigdala Wearable Jewellery. Their stand was the first that I visited and I fell in love with their pieces. I just adored the intricate and elegant details that line each piece. I'm usually a fan of more edgier, chunky jewellery, but this brand definitely makes me want to start wearing more softer and prettier pieces.

I also loved Linzy Lou bags, as their brand was right up my street. Clean, sophisticated and colour blocked bags that would provide the perfect finishing touch to any outfit! I think I'll definitely be making a purchase from here very soon!
I'm so upset that I didn't get to catch the fashion show, but by the time it started, I was actually feeling a little hot and stuffy inside, so I needed to get some air. But I did manage to get this very mediocre shot of one of the models! Sadly you can't actually see the clothes she's supposed to be modelling, but she is rocking those accessories - I would definitely buy those! ;)
The only thing I would've liked to see more of is fashion and clothing brands. Now I'm not sure if it was because I went to the evening session and not the morning one (the one that Motel Rocks was at!) but  I felt like last seasons BLFW that happened back in March had a lot more clothing brands, and I was a bit gutted that I didn't see that many this time round! But hey-ho I'm not complaining, I still had a good ol' time and I met some lovely brands. So thank you again to The Bloggers Hangout and all the brands who came out, it was a pleasure! Until the next BLFW, stay fashionable. Peace!
Did you attend BLFW? If yes, what did you think of the event?
