A Fun Friday with Friends

There's some serious bokeh blur going on here, I love it! *heart eye emoji x3*

Me: Shortly after a monstrous burp

Yesterday marked the first Friday in about 3 years, since I haven't had to worry about, focus on, or stress over a piece of coursework, exam or any kind of university related issue. 3 years! How crazy is that guys?! I mean when I put it like that, it really puts it into perspective how demanding and draining a degree really is. But yesterday there were no demands, no exhaustion, there was just me, my friends, a Friday and a whole lot of fun! And do you know what? It was absolutely GREAT!

Up close and personal with my Rosh
And then she tried to grab my boob, because of course that's what best friends do right?! The friends that play together, stay together HA!

After Rosh touched said boob!

We didn't do much, but we were all together and we were all just chilling out and having fun and I loved that! It's funny how doing the simplest things can have the biggest impact. I mean I was planning to go out last night, to a party at my University, and I was going to dress up and spend money on alcohol and food - the full works! But I decided to stay in and hang out with my buds,we didn't do much, we just sat on the sofa, listened to some music, ate some watermelon, and strolled around the park. But in doing so, I was able to have a good time, save money, stay healthy and save on the hangover that would've probably taken over my body, come Saturday morning! Plus the sun was shining and it was a chance for me to dress up in a few summery items (from my April Haul - here)

For me, life is often about the simple things, it's about the incidental capture of a silly face, the exploration of nature and all it has to offer, the sitting on sofas with your 3 favourite people, talking about life and just being - being there together, in the moment! Because time moves so quickly and so fast it is important to remember not to move along too fast with it, sometimes it's good to just stop, pause, admire and capture all of life's little moments, as within a blink they will be gone!
