We all take part and have our place in the battle
that is life and we are all soldiers fighting for something, be it: love,
success, wealth, health or family. Whatever it is we are in a war but the war
is not with others…it is with ourselves. Every so often it is important for us
to take a step back and have a think about what it is we are actually fighting
for, for if we don’t do this we run the risk of losing the war and in the
process losing what is most important to us. I failed to do this over the last year;
I lost sight of what was really important and forgot what I was fighting for. I
swapped family for parties and friends for hostility. I forgot that the family,
friends and the people who care about you the most are the ones who will always
be there for you. In the end what I realised is that parties, money, and bad
attitudes are all temporary; the strongest and hardest weapon used to fight in
the war is the things that will always remain constant and true to you. That’s
what will help you win. This is a cold war; yes I know what I’m
fighting for! Do you?
Did you enjoy this post? I know it's a little different and random to what I usually write, but sometimes I have these moments when I just want to write down the conflicting, swirling, frenzy that are my thoughts and hope that they come out as something comprehensible and interesting! Hope you liked it!
As always thank you for reading lovelies. Until next time I'm...
