As the curtain draws to a close on New York Fashion Week, I think it is a great time to share with you my absolute favourites from this stylish event, as it was an absolute showdown! My favourite designers by far have been Carolina Herrera (coat pictured above), Victoria Beckham, DKNY and Alexander Wang (love, love, loved this!). Read on to hear about what I loved and why I loved them!

Victoria Beckham AW15

This collection was absolutely stunning and beautiful! The clothes were something that I think were made for the everyday woman. My absolute favourite from the collection would have to be the bright orange coat in the middle. I'm a sucker for bright colours and the round shape just makes it look oh so warm and snuggly, it kind of makes me want to crawl inside and never come out again!

DKNY AW15

Now onto the wonderful and colour-blocking that was DKNY. This line was a breath of fresh air, as it has two elements which I love: colour blocks & minimals, Ah! I want every single piece from this collection, especially the white jumper on the far right! The clothes just looks super modern and super minimal. I likey!
Alexander Wang
Finally my favourite collection of NYFW has got to be Alexander Wang! This collection is everything, it gives me life (no seriously - it really does!). Now I know the I-looked-like-I-have-just-stepped-out-of-the-shower look may not tickle everyone's fancy, but I love it! From the greasy hair, to the nude and pale face, to the dark and gothic clothes. This was by far the hit of NYFW! Every piece was a hit for me and I can't wait to put together an OOTD inspired by this collection!
 Street Style
Now we've talked about what I loved on the Catwalk but here's what I loved off the Catwalk, so here's some street style for ya!

So you've seen my favourite collections from NYFW. But there was one thing I haven't mentioned that was very popular and that was the FTL Moda show. The show, showcased a string of models who had disabilities. This was such a delight to see, because so often fashion is seen as something reserved for the flawless and elite of the world. This show showed us that being beautiful doesn't necessarily mean to be 6 feet tall, it showed us that it can come in all different, shapes, sizes, and abilities - equality for all! A true inspiration.

I hope you liked this post, I can't wait to see what trends come up at London Fashion Week! What have your NYFW favourites been? Let me know in the comments below.
